since summer started, my friend^ had surgery on her jaw and now that she's feeling better and slowly recovering, we decided we needed to hang! five us packed up our things and went for a mini road trip to santa monica for a little shopping and coffee bean, then headed over to venice for more shopping at vintage shops. we originally intended to go to the beach and lay out in the sun, but the weather was overcast and extremely windy and cold. we couldnt stand laying out in bikinis like that any longer, so we left. 3 of us girls got these amazing dresses in different color schemes, so perfect for summer. more

You're 18 and fall madly in love with the captain of the football team and you end up pregnant, he leaves the minute he finds out....the baby is a little boy and you want to give him a strong name and your dad's middle name, he takes you're last name. What is his name and what does he look like?? When you're son is four you get married to a journalist you met at a coffee shop...he loves your little son so much you decide to have another kid. You end up with triplets, identical girls and a boy. One of them you want to have you're name as a middle name, one you're husbands name as a middle name and the second girl the middle name of the coffee shop you met at or what you were eating when you met him. What is your husbands name and you're triplets?? what do they all look like?? The triplets all have to have names starting with the same letter. You're son is 7 you're triplets are 3...you're son starts going to school full time and you're triplets start preschool. You miss having babies around so you decide to have another. In June after the school year is over you give birth to a little baby girl. She has to middle names, June and the name of your mother, and her first name needs to start with the letter after the triplets names. You're youngest is a year and you and your husband take your kids on a trip to the Jersey shores. This guy and i have been involved off and on for over 2 years. He's had commitment issues and pushes me away and pulls me back. I have isses with him "disappearing" as a result. After a year, i lost my virginity to him. I'm 22, and he's still the only guy i've slept with. We don't have sex very often, because since we didn't get into a relationship like he said we would, i now have some issues with sex and feeling like he's going to walk out of my life at any moment. We love each other, and he says i'm the person he knows he wants to be with and he's always wanted me, but he's still scared. I know he was badly hurt in the relationship right before we started talking. She broke his heart, but i feel like after 2 years, he should know i'm not going to hurt him. I have tried many times to walk away from all this, but he wont let me go. He says he doesn't want to lose me. So we have agreed to "start over" because we both have issues that we need to just put in the past and start fresh. He knows i want to go out more and he needs to show me that he cares, not just with words..and i agreed to stop trippin lol. He knows that i trip because of the way he treats me though. Anyway, sex is a concern. I want to have sex with him, but i don't want to do it without a commitment because i'm afraid he'll walk away again, and i don't want him be able to have his cake and eat it too, otherwise he'll never NEED to commit. Dear all, I have a Latvian (EU) passport. Its expiry date is on the 09 July 2009. Three months ago I bought a ticket to Latvia. Outbound on 06 July 2009 and return on 23 July 2009 using the online check-in option on "RYANAIR". I was planning on renewing my passport when I arrive to Latvia. When I attempted to check-in today, I types my real passport expiry date and pressed "proceed". A new window appeared stating "Expiry date cannot be less then your trip arrival date", after that, I cannot continue to the next page. I cannot only check-in outbound date. If I do a check-in at the airport, will they charge me £40 pounds? If anyone was in this situation, what did you do? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. more

Open Question: How can I overcome my fear of roller coasters?

I'm 13 now, and I just absolutely hate that feeling in my stomach which you get when you go on rollercoasters. It was a school trip to Alton Towers last Thursday and my friends managed to drag me onto Spinball Whizzer and when I got off it I was shaking and practically collapsed - and Spinball Whizzer isn't even classed as a thrill ride! It's just a ride which is supposed to be a bit of fun. And this summer we're going to Portaventura for our holiday and there is a theme park there. I looked at this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjVS1k18pp8) and it's a little kids ride, and in my opinion it looked absolutely terrifying! Look at the video of the ride - you'll think i'm a completely stupid for thinking that looks scary at my age! And in the Portaventura theme park they have massive rides like - Dragon Khan (It has 8 loops in total! It looks massive!) - Furious Baco (83.9mph!!) - Hurakan Condor (Drop tower ride. Goes up to 71.4mph!) - Stampida (46mph. Might not sound too fast but it does look insanel fast on videos). I want to try them but I think Tami-Tami looks scary then I seriously don't think i'll survive on them rides! Could anyone help me here? My dad wants me to go on them big ones with him when we get there, but I just don't know if I can. And it was very embarrasing in Alton Towers when I was terrified on Spinball Whizzer yet my friends were going on Oblivion, Nemesis, Rita and Air! more

I have made reservations through recreation.gov for our camping trip we are taking in August. Well earlier today I was having some mild contractions every 5 minutes but only 4 times and then they died back down to 20-30 minutes apart. For the past hour I have had mild contraction every 5-8 minutes. I can call my doctor because well, for one it's Saturday, secondly it also a holiday. I really hate making the 30 minute trip up to labor and delivery over nothing. What should I do? Im 34-36 (i think ovulated early, so more around the 36 weeks). The baby has dropped, Monday I was dilated to a 1 and my cervix had thinned out. Could this be it? also monday I lost my plug, and this is my second child Yea, I had planned on laboring mostly at home...i just dont want to deliver at home lol. There is this girl I hate so much named Jane. Me and her are both 14... so we have been arguing fighting, etc, the past year but now I think she is really mentally messed up so I decided to just try and be nice with her! So I was acting really nice to her and she started being nice back (YAY!) and she invited me to her party this evening.... her parents were on a business trip so she just did like this huge party. She didn't even show up for like 20 mins and everyone is walking around wondering where she is. Then maybe at 7:30, all the music stopped and everyone was looking around. Then Just Dance by Lady GaGa started and Jane came downstairs... she was walking in this really slllutty way and she was wearing all black and this ripped up skannky dress and these huge black heels. And I looked at her and it looked like she was really crying!!! She was dancing and everyone was just staring at her and she climbed up on top of a table and took a knife and she was dancing while she was holding it. Then she bent down and put the knife against her ankle. And she got up really slowly and the knife literally cut her entire leg. ANd she did it on purpose. Then she kept dancing like a moron and I was screaming JANE STOP JANE YOU HAVE TO STOP! And she cut her other leg. There was a long long cut going from her ankle to her hip. And she kept dancing like everything was normal and I think she was still crying. I was so scared. Then she put the knife against her elbow and and cut down her arm. She did it to her other arm too. I was like JANE YOU HAVE TO STOP! and everyone else was just watching. She put the knife on her chest and cut down to her stomach but I think it was a very gentle cut since I didnt see any blood. Then she kept singing along with the song and I was so scared! She cut along one of her cheeks then threw the knife at a wall and went upstairs. THAT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO CREEPPY!! She came downstairs, danced to "Just Dance" cut her entire body and was bleeding, sang, and went upstairs. AND NO ONE ELSE SEEMED TO CARE!! I went upstairs and peeked through Jane's door and she was wrapping her legs and arms up with toilet paper liek wtf...... Also Just Dance was playing in her room tooo... What should I do? PS could she be mentally insane or something? more

When I was in 10th grade I met a girl who was in 9th grade on a school trip. We both started to REALLY like each other and we planned to go on a date but it never happened. Open Question: Am I just being oversensitive and emotional?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and have been having contractions at 30 minute intervals all day. When I saw the doctor last Thursday I was 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced, the doc could feel the baby's head. My husband is out of town today and was supposed to come home tonight but now he is wavering and wanting to stay over an hour away for the night. I am not sure how I feel about it since I have no one nearby to call if I actually go into labor. I have lost part of my mucous plug and have been "nesting" all week. I am wondering if I am being over sensitive and emotional because I feel like the baby and I are only important to him if there is nothing better to do. I also should mention that he is at a family gathering and is a bit of a mommas boy. His mom has been telling him all day that I won't go into labor yet because it's not time but I am not so sure (it's my first child). I am feeling like he should be here at night now that I am so close to delivery but I don't want to alienate his family either. They were mildly upset that I didn't make the trip up there to sleep in a tent (like any 38 week pregnant woman wants to sleep in a tent or a camper for that matter). I guess I am asking for input and advice on how to deal with it when he calls again. He has been calling every couple hours to see how I am feeling. I don't want to overreact...basically I want him to want to be here for me. Plus I know how angry I will be if I do go into labor and he isn't here to support me. Any advice would be appreciated. Well he just called and he is staying out there regardless of my feelings and contractions...guess I know where I stand! more

I went up to Halifax about a week or 2 ago for a trip that lasted 3 days.And it started the night before we went up...I would wake up and I wouldn't be one bit hungry..Like..AT ALL!Sure I would eat if my mom made me..But I would either end up throwing it out when she wouldn't be looking or just pick at it as if I were sick and I just couln't eat.Then the day after we came back...I was having a certain craving for chocolat and I actually ate it..I wasn't hungry .. just I had a bad craving .. and after that I started to eat that day.But then again that night It started out the same way..I just wasn't feeling hungry one bit and I just wouldn't eat.And it's been that way for a while now...yesterday and today I did the exact same thing..I woke up super super late for me...3:48...exactly..And my mom made me eat.So I made a pancake.Nothing on it though.And I was like super full when I got around the middle of it.Since then I havn't eatin anything and I still dont feel hungry at all...???What's up with this? more

Open Question: My Son Really Worries Me!?

Our son is now 16 months old, hes found his feet but at the stage he can still trip over easily. If he falls and hits his head on the floor he laughs and then goes to hit his head harder! You can hear the thump as he does it. Today he fell and hit the side of his head on his toy garage, he has a graze just beside his eye. He is never left alone, but when he does something like this I really feel like an awful parent. Our son is our world and has never had a hand raised to him and never will. My husband reminds me what everyone says - Every child will get bump and bruises. However when he gets one I get so paranoid that people might think we are hurting him. The hitting the head incidents have me in bits, im so scared he will do himself damage. Ive put a thick duvet down in the living room to try and cushion the blows! Our HV said to ignore him when he bumps his head, but its very difficult. He leaves himself with a red mark and a bump. The baby P case made me so angry and paranoid. When I heard they broke his back I was physically sick. There seems to be a rising number in these cases and I do find it distressing. I started working from home so I could I could see James grow up. I really cannot remember what life was like without him, nor do I want to. more

Open Question: walking too long causes pain in the back of knees?

usually when i walk all day like once on a trip to italy we walked around town all day or when i walked through hills and all the way back home, i get a really bad pain in the back of my knees and back of my legs right below my calves, that travels all the way up to my hips when its really bad. it feels like cartilage or tendons or something. i am almost certain that every time this has happened i have been wearing vans or converse which are both flat. is that the problem? it never happens to any of my friends who are the same age and wear the same shoes and walk the same distance. i am 14. 5'3 and 112 lbs. do you know whats wrong? the pain ggoes away after a few days at maximum more

Lately ive been good and things has been too good to be true. idk is complicated.. like my boyfriend is going on a road trip with his friends for 3 days who knows what can happen it might be kinda like a "Whatever happen at the beach stay at the beach things" But i trust him you know i know that there is a lot of girls there because is july 4th and what is guys mostly there for come onnnn.. but yeah he said hes going to call me everynight to talk but didn't the first day and i doubt he will tonight. But i could care less but it dont mean i dont care.. i just stop the nagging because i think that if i do he would be annoyed and will be willing to do stupid things like talk to girls or something like that.. I dont text him back right away because ive been keeping myself busy having my own time and just spending time with my family and just relaxing.. im still a little scare of who is going to be there or who he's with HONESTLY like im sure he wouldnt tell me if girls were going... i couldn't go because it was july 4th and my family was going to have a get together it didn't bother me till he left i start to wonder what would happen but i try not to think about it because i trust him.. I guess is harder now because he has hurted me times after times because whenever i truely trust him thigns comes up and it hurts me.. and it always have to do with another girl so yeah but im taking a risk to trust him and i know i have consequences to face but i just wanna know if im doing the right thing about not bothering him.. would that tick a guy off? would it make him do stupid things like talking to another girl? idk wat to do help? and guys a little help about what a girl can do to be a girlfriend that he would miss and love and feel like there wouldnt be anyone better? been working on semi hermetic copeland 1-1/2 horsepower compressor that was tripping out on overload. changed compressor, but new rebuilt one doing same thing. does anyone have and idea what it could be? starter? capacitor? wiring seems to be ok. thought old compressor was bad, but still doing with new one. not sure what or how to check further!! thank you joe more

From the beginning... I'll try to make it short. I go to school 45 miles away from where I live. He's about 10 miles away from the school. We've been friends since we first saw each other 3 years ago. I've liked him for 2, but the first year I liked him I wasn't completely crushing. Us three arrived together and decided to enroll in the sack race. We hadn't played field sports since high school so we weren't sure what us had gotten ourselves into. Rene had a rough start; her and her sack got all tangled at the starting line. Vanessa and me hopped alongside each other for most of the way. Then, our professor surprised us all by sailing over the finish line in first place. Despite this turn of events, us three were proud of our efforts and had a great time. Ready for some rest, we decided to go have a seat by that there old stand of trees near the bike trail. Rene went to find the food while Vanessa and me grabbed a seat at the green picnic table. Us looked up from our conversation just in time to see Rene trip on something in the grass. Paper plates and napkins flew everywhere before landing with Rene in a heap on the lawn. We rushed over to see if her was okay. When Rene looked up, her had what looked like blueberry pie running down the side of her face into her hair. Us tried not to laugh, but once the giggles started, all three of we were laughing so hard that we couldn't catch our breath. This here was one picnic that none of us would forget. more
